The Loft

The Loft

Over the past two years, my boyfriend and I have been working on the space where we live — a loft in Greenpoint that we've shaped entirely on our own.

Coming from a business background, design was never my starting point, but it became part of my everyday life. I planned the layout, drew the kitchen, and followed the entire installation process from concept to completion.

It's a space that reflects both of us — practical, intentional, and personal.

Design Notes

Materials
Natural clay paint in warm white and sand tones, European oak flooring and cabinetry, limestone countertops, handmade ceramic fixtures.
Palette
A foundation of warm whites and creams, accented with terracotta clay, stone gray, and the natural honey tones of unstained oak.
Philosophy
Warm minimalism rooted in the Italian principle of "less but better" — fewer elements, thoughtfully chosen and beautifully executed. Every piece serves both function and feeling, creating spaces that are calm yet full of character.

Design isn't just what we see — it's what we live in.
